New COVID-19 Alert Wed 10 November

On Wednesday 10 November a staff member reported she had tested positive to COVID-19 after being exposed to her partner who also tested positive.

This was through community contact, however, the staff member has been working in our home on Sunday – Tuesday.

Unfortunately, this means we are cancelling visits until further notice.

No residents have tested positive, and there are no signs or symptoms of concern. We will be monitoring residents closely throughout this and will inform the nominated contact if we have any concerns regarding their health safety and wellbeing.

We are working closely with the Public Health Unit and related stakeholders and meeting daily.

We will provide an update once we have a clearer indication of how long this particular lockdown is likely to last.
